About Us

Understanding the Journey

I started Finding Her Crown with the aim of encouraging anyone who desires the full life of freedom and purpose God has for every believer.

I thought I was saved. I thought when the trumpet sounded on the last day, I would be whisked away into the presence of God whole and complete.

Well, I thought wrong. The reality was that, although I had believed and received Christ, I was living a life that did not please God. Despite my strong desires to live a life of holiness, I felt bound to my filthy lifestyle and struggled to break free.

I loved the Lord, served in His church and witnessed about Him, but I still did not have the capacity to obey and please him. This contradiction left me depressed. At a point, I began confessing and touting every week as the week of my freedom from the bondage of sin.
